To retain the long-term value of its workplace furniture, simatec had its existing Girsberger swivel and multi-purpose chairs comprehensively refurbished. Targeted repairs and servicing prepared the chairs for a second life cycle.
simatec ag is a global market leader in automatic lubricators and high-tech niche products for rolling bearing maintenance. The medium-sized company employs around 60 people and is headquartered in Switzerland’s Oberaargau region.
gan by assessing the chairs and defining the required scope of work. Once the order was confirmed, a date was arranged for the repairs and servicing. Most of the work was completed directly on site. New upholstery covers and mesh backrest covers were ordered in advance and fitted there. In addition, several wooden multi-purpose chairs were taken to the Girsberger factory for refurbishment. The employees then received their fully refurbished chairs, ready for renewed use.
Our service technician tested and assessed the chairs on site to determine the cleaning, care and servicing required.
Thanks to our mobile workshop, most of the work was carried out directly at simatec, including cleaning and servicing the mechanisms, frames and upholstery. Heavily used components such as gas lifts and castors were replaced.
The mesh backrest coverings, upholstery and cover fabrics were renewed at the factory and fitted on site.
